FAQ

Why does Plumreactor exist now?
Millions of high-quality concept designs already exist online, but most are monetized only through attention, commissions, or employment. Advances in prototyping, supply chain coordination, market trends, and IP-aware commerce now make it possible to turn more of these designs into real, outstanding products.
How is Plumreactor different from platforms like Behance or ArtStation?
The majority of existing platforms such as Behance and ArtStation are heavily leaning towards digital work showcase, and digital work commissioning, at most, in terms of commercialization. We believe most of the value is in physical products, which is a lot less practiced in due to poor branding, complexity challenges, and lack of concept-to-product experience. Plumreactor helps selected concept designs move toward commercialization, physical production, and long-term IP value. We provide creators with direct assist when we find the potential.
Is Plumreactor a marketplace, a brand, or a production company?
Plumreactor sits between all three. It is a platform that connects IP, production, commerce, and community around concept designs that deserve to exist physically.
What products will Plumreactor create?

We have some of the most exquisite collections in the world.

Examples include high-quality scale models, display pieces, design collectibles, bespoke objects, architectural display works, and other physical formats based on original concept IP.

While we are focused on limited edition items, we sometimes mass produce.

Do designers keep ownership of their work?
Yes. Plumreactor is built around respecting designer IP. Our goal is to help designers unlock commercial upside without losing the identity, authorship, or creative value of their work.
How much will designers be able to earn?
Original creators of the concept receive 50% royalties for every sale made post cost deduction which is a record-high within the greater creator field.
What do I have to do to participate as a designer?
All you need to do is to setup your account, pay and submit your design here, communicate further with the Flagship Product Lab if approved, and wait to collect your royalties.
What’s the acceptance rate for design submissions?

There is no exact approval rate. We evaluate concepts based on design quality, production feasibility, IP clarity, audience demand, and long-term brand potential.

If you are a designer interested in submitting your design, use the platform submission flow once onboarding opens.

Do you give feedback on denied submissions?
Yes. As much as we can.
How do I move up the ladder?
Better designs get better audience feedback, and rankings translate directly to levels. Practice more and improve on feedback from the general audience or FPL.
There seems to be low audience interest for a design of mine. Do I get higher chances of denial?
Sometimes numerical traction metrics aren't good enough indicators for future product potential. The Flagship Product Lab (FPL) therefore reviews submissions in a holistic manner.
Can I quit my position as a designer at McLaren and become a millionaire off of Plumreactor in a very short time, let’s say 3 years?
Our mission is to make this highly possible.
Do you accept student work?
If good enough, yes. Sometimes we approve submissions with sketches only. We have sharp taste.
When is Plumreactor launching?
Plumreactor is currently preparing its platform launch and first curated releases. We have a few early advisors and early designers on board, FPL established, and few prototypes in the make.
How can I get early access?
Early general user access, designer onboarding, and collector previews will open through the official website.
